Spit Braais originated when catering for large groups of people were required.
Nowadays with closed braai systems, we can Purple Pepper Spit Braai Teamreduce cooking times dramatically, yet keeping same flavour and "wow" factor as an extended 6 hour open aired spit braai.

All our catering is done on site and includes Paella and Std Braai-ing as well.

We can prepare your spitbraai via 2 methods:


1) Gas Spit Braai 2) Charcoal Spit Braai

 • Can be prepared indoors
   (well ventilated area)
• More flavour brought to the meat
• Preperation time same as gas
• Powered by 2 unique, adjustable side   charcoal boxes


Lamb on the Spit

Meat Types: (see our Spit Braai Menu page)
• Pork
• Lamb
• Beef
• Stuffed Turkey Breast
• Honey Glazed Gammon
• Game (any choice)
• Smoked Lamb with Cedarwood chips   (charcoal spit only)


Purple Pepper Spit Braai Techniques:
• No Basting, hence keeping true flavour
• Cooked from fresh
• Cooked entirely on site
• Two hours cooking time for a full lamb and then underneath five  hours cooking    time for a full pig
• All meat sourced locally (local is lekker)
• Traditional mint sauce served with lamb spits

Spit Braai Requirements:
• Proximity to electrical power point
Braai Preperation Area:
• Gas Spit's - Outdoor or Indoor(well ventilated area)
• Charcoal Spit's - Outdoor area only

Included in our prices, we supply  a Gazebo to cook and serve under, preperation / serving tables, chef and assistant to cook and serve and cutlery/plates and napkins.

We cater for Spit Braais anywhere in Greater Cape Town and surrounding areas.
